- Happy note, 2017 good start. Story made headlines in 2016. Out of nowhere, a small, stray dog shadowed an extreme marathon runner. For 77 miles. They develop a bond and he adopted her. The story had a bit of extra drama along the way but the end is a happy one. United now, the plan is to continue running together, raising money to help other stray dogs. Metro.
