Flood Relief for Pets/ HSMO FYI

A word on flood recovery efforts in Missouri (2017). Pet temporary shelter drop-off locations closed on May 3 and are no longer open but temporary shelter is still available for those affected by recent flooding in Missouri - details and phone number at HSMO

From 2015. A reminder of the work rescuers do in helping to track down displaced pets. This team heard muffled noises coming from inside a trailer and hurried to find the source. How incredible to discover this cat survived by floating in her litter box. Extraordinary.




This disaster team rescued four cats by boat on the afternoon of December 31, 2015.
